Sports Lover’s Dream

April has been a sports lover’s dream, highlighted by the likes of Tiger Woods and Mike Krzyzewski. Although both Tiger and Coach K did not win their respective events (congratulations to the Kansas Jayhawks and Scottie Scheffler for their big wins), both Woods and Krzyzewski captured audiences' hearts and minds. They represented two of the reatest sporting legends, playing in two of the most amazing sporting events of the year: the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament and The Masters. Both events kicked-off a super-charged month that has not disappointed.

As the world has been taken by a storm of crypto currencies over the past few years, leading up to the current crypto winter crash, along with the stock market bubble appearing to burst before our eyes, athletes are weathering the storm. Sports helps take our minds off of financial challenges, just like it helps us deal with the pandemic or political turmoil. It provides a healthy escape, and an opportunity for investment.

It’s late December and many people around the world are enjoying holiday parties, good food and drinks, while sharing stories with family and friends. Some may be out shopping, or living their digital best lives online, or just winding down the year with some well-deserved time away from work and school. Many will undoubtedly be watching a multitude of college and pro sports events, including big-ticket bowl games, top hoops matchups, and the Winter Olympics this year. But how about the athletes?
